Trump Exposes Pakistan: US President Reveals Islamabad’s Nuclear Weapons Testing Secret | World News

United States President Donald Trump claimed that Pakistan was testing nuclear weapons; This came shortly after the United States announced it would begin testing its own nuclear weapons for the first time in more than three decades.

Trump noted that Pakistan is among the countries actively testing nuclear weapons, stating that this is part of a broader pattern among other states that requires the United States to continue its own nuclear tests.

According to ANI, in an interview with CBS News’ 60 Minutes program on Sunday, Trump stated that many countries, including Russia, China, North Korea and Pakistan, have conducted nuclear tests, while the United States remains the only country that has not done so.

“Russia has tests and China has tests, but they don’t talk about it. We’re an open society. We’re different. We talk about it. We have to talk about it because otherwise you’re going to report on it. They don’t have reporters to write about it,” Trump said.

“We will test because they are testing, others are testing as well. And certainly North Korea is testing as well. Pakistan is also testing,” the US President added.

Trump made these statements when he was asked about his decision to “detonate nuclear weapons.”

Trump’s Nuclear Weapon Testing Decision

Earlier Thursday, Trump announced the immediate resumption of nuclear weapons testing, citing Russia’s recent tests of advanced nuclear-capable systems; This indicates great tension between the two nuclear powers.

Trump said in the interview, “You have to see how they work. The reason I say testing is because Russia announced that they will test. If you pay attention, North Korea is constantly testing. Other countries are testing. We are the only country that does not test. I do not want to be the only country that does not test.”

“We will test nuclear weapons like other countries have done,” he added.

US President Trump also claimed that America has “more nuclear weapons than any other country”, adding that he had discussed denuclearization with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“We have enough nuclear weapons to blow up the world 150 times,” Trump said. “Russia has a lot of nuclear weapons, and China will have a lot, too. It has some. It has a lot.”

Asked whether renewed testing would make the global nuclear environment more volatile, he said: “I think we’ve got that pretty well locked down.”
