Italian police arrest Ukrainian man over Nord Stream pipelines blast | Italy

According to German authorities, a Ukrainian man, allegedly involved in the explosion of Nord Stream Stream pipelines carrying gas from Russia to Germany, was arrested in Italy.
He is believed to be on the sailing boat allegedly attacked.
Carabinieri arrested the man in the area around Wednesday evening after the European arrest warrant was issued on Monday.
The attacks on unused pipelines were carried out on September 26, 2022 and apparently damaged them beyond repair.
Inspectors have long been suspicious of this is a Ukrainian commando operation. It is believed that divers were taken from the German Port of Rostock to the area near the pipelines near the Danish Bornholm Island and explosives to the sea bed.
Serhiy K is thought to be on board. Inspectors do not believe that he is one of the divers, but it is thought to play the leading role as a coordinator that seems to be a well -planned operation.
According to prosecutors, the yacht was hired with the help of intermediaries and using fake identity documents.
The incident has been under investigation by the GBA since 2022, which has caused any suspect to accuse and explode against anti -constitution sabotage.
During the comprehensive media investigations, especially by News Magazine Der Spiegel, people alleged to have detailed information about the incident, said the commandos did not intend to commit a crime. Instead, they had thought of an attack on a legitimate military target due to Russia’s Ukrainian War, because at least the profits to Germany from gas deliveries contributed significantly to the financing of Moscow’s war.
Although Spiegel’s research was rejected by Kiev, there was evidence that the action was approved by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
German prosecutors did not say when they waited for Serhiy K to be returned to confront the German authorities.
Simples of Sweden and Danish officials were closed in February 2024 and German authorities allowed them to continue their investigations.
At one point, Russia accused Washington of being behind the sabotage following Washington’s critique of addiction to Russian gas. Initially, there was a strong assumption that the Russian perpetrators were behind the explosions until the researchers followed the yachts and discovered their connection to Ukraine.
After the bulletin promotion
Like Kyiv, Washington and Moscow rejected allegations.
Last year, Germany’s federal prosecutor Jens Rommel received the first arrest warrant against one of the suspects. However, after the allegedly warned the Polish officials Ukrainian officials, he left his house in Poland before his arrest. According to Spiegel, the man is believed to be deported to Ukraine in a diplomatic plate car.
On Thursday, the ship was drifting along the sea bed for approximately 90km (55 miles), and in 2024, the Georgian captain of an oil tanker who damaged submarine cables in the Baltic Sea refused to make wrong by calling the “sea accident”.
The first and second officers of Davit Vadatchkoria and Eagle S oil tanker will face charges in a Helsinki court on the slices of power and telecommunication cables as the ships separated from a Russian oil port on Monday move towards the west in the Gulf of Finland.
Vadatchkoria, who was detained in Finland, said to Finland public publisher YLE on Thursday, “This is just a sea accident.”
