Manhunt launched after violent burglar flees prison

After a violent thief could not return to his open prison, a human hunt was initiated.

28 -year -old Colin Williams, who was sentenced to nine years and six months in prison for aggravated theft and attack, could not return to the D category in Appleton on June 30th.

The Cheshire police say they are looking for any information about where the prisoner is.

Officers say that the criminal has connections with the nearby Warrington, St Helens, Ellesmere Port and North Wales, but that Williams may be further away.

It is defined as white, middle structure and about five feet eleven inch tall, brown hair and eyes.

There is also tattoo points in the joints of the left hand and a face tattoo on the lower right arm.

Williams was sentenced in October 2020 after a hearing. The theft conviction arrived after entering an apartment in December 2019.

During the hearing of Williams, the jury heard that the 28 -year -old child kicked the door into the victim’s apartment in Padgate, and then hit the hand of the resident while hanging from the window to avoid being seen.

The victim then fell into the concrete floor and smashed his heels. The strike in the hands of the victim caused a finger injury that required surgery.

Despite serious injuries in his heels, the sacrifice then managed to run for security in a nearby package and asked the staff to call the police.
