Italy’s Meloni Says US-Israeli Attacks on Iran Violate International Law

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, a close ally of US President Donald Trump, said that US-Israeli attacks violate international law.

In his speech to the Italian Senate on Wednesday, Meloni spoke of a broader international crisis in which “threats are becoming increasingly dire and unilateral interventions outside the bounds of international law are proliferating.”

He said that “American and Israeli intervention in the Iranian regime” should be understood as part of this broader crisis.
