‘Let Me Sleep’: Woman dragged out of bed by police over 84-year-old’s death

A woman wearing “Let Me Sleep” pajamas was dragged from her bed by heavily armed police following the death of an 84-year-old woman in Sydney’s northwest.
Emergency services were called to Comet St in Melonba, near Marsden Park, shortly after midday on October 4 due to welfare concerns.
Police found the body of an 84-year-old woman in her bedroom.
The death is being treated as suspicious.
Following investigations, police executed a search warrant at a home on Comet Street around 3pm on Thursday.
Video provided by NSW Police shows at least seven heavily armed officers approaching the property.
“Police, search warrant. Open the door,” an officer shouts before a tool is used to break down the front door.

The officers return a short time later with a woman in pajamas with “Let Me Sleep” written on the front.
The 50-year-old man was put into a police car before being taken to Mt Druitt police station.
In the statement made by the police, it was stated that investigations were continuing.
