A Russian energy company claimed that a Ukrainian drone hit a Russian nuclear power plant. In a statement, Rosenergoatom claimed that he was “suppressed by technical ways” before hitting a cooling tower at the Novovoronezh facility in the Voronezh region of the Ukrainian border.
The company said: “There was no damage or injury, but the explosion left a dark sign in the cooling tower. The nuclear power plant was safely operational.” The Rosenergoatom described the incident as “another act of aggression against Russian nuclear power plants of Ukraine armed forces”.
