Jaguar Land Rover production ‘severely disrupted’ by cyberattack

Jaguar Land Rover is “seriously broken” due to a cyber event targeting vehicle production and retail services.
The car manufacturer said that Hack has taken “emergency action” to reduce the effect and is currently working to restart the procedures.
There is currently no evidence that any customer data is stolen.
A statement from the company read: “JLR was impressed by a cyber event. We immediately took action to reduce its impact by closing our systems proactively.
“Now we are working at Pace to restore our global applications in a controlled manner.
“At this stage there is no evidence that any customer data was stolen, but our retail and production activities are seriously broken.”
It is not yet known who is responsible for the attack, and there is a few cyber attacks against large companies, including Marx and Spencer, Co-op and Harrods.
Accordingly Liverpool Echo, Mersexide factory was closed and the workers were told not to come to the workers.
