James Carville predicts Trump won’t be president a year from now

Democratic strategist James Carville predicted in a speech on “Politicon” on Wednesday that President Donald Trump will not be president next year and threatened retaliation from Democrats against Trump’s actions.

“I’m telling you right now. You’re not going to be president a year from now. You’re too soft. You’re too weak. You’re running out of support. You’re going to die. People are going to come after you. And when the Democrats get back into office in January, they’re going to go after the corruption right away. And we’ll know what to do,” Carville said.

Carville, an outspoken critic of the president, has referenced Trump in several recent rants posted on his YouTube channel.

Arguing that Democrats would return the money to American citizens, he said, “We will find all the money that went the wrong way, we will take legal action and we will do what you call a rollback.”

“James Carville is a stone-cold loser who suffers from a serious and incurable disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome, which has rotted his peanut-sized brain,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle said in a statement to Fox News Digital. he said.

The Democratic strategist also recently weighed in on why the Democratic Party is unpopular.

“The reason people don’t like the Democratic Party is the same reason I don’t like it now: we lost. When you win, it changes everything. People are part of a political party because they want the party to win elections. We lost the last election. You’re not supposed to like us, okay? I don’t like us,” he said.

He continued, “And the public is being rightfully harsh on the Democrats, as they should be. And the way to improve this is to go forward and win the election, not some seven-point plan that you can’t implement between now and 2028 anyway. Then the Democrats will start to love you again.”

Carville hasn’t held back in his disdain for the president, saying in a Good Friday message earlier this month that he hoped Trump wouldn’t “go crazy” before the midterm elections.

“Don’t yell at me. Don’t do this. Because I want you to survive when all this happens to you,” he said. He then turned to a rapid-fire list of complaints about Trump’s team, including Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and suggested the president had “no idea” how to run his administration.
