Heavenly girl Sonal Chauhan is finally making her grand comeback. The actor has joined the cast of Mirzapur: The Film, the big screen version of the popular Prime Video series. Sharing the exciting news on social media, she gave fans a peek at the welcome basket and a heartfelt note from Excel Entertainment. The note read, “Dear Sonal, we are excited to have you in the Mirzapur team. Can’t wait to see the magic you bring to the screen.”
Expressing her excitement, Sonal wrote: “I’m still getting used to it… I’m so happy to be a part of such an incredible and game-changing journey. I’m so excited to be joining Mirzapur: The Film and can’t wait for everyone to see what comes your way!”
Announced last year, the film will see Mirzapur favorites Pankaj Tripathi return as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Divyenndu Munna as Tripathi and Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta. Even though Munna was killed off in the second season, fans are in for a surprise as the makers have hinted at his return. The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment. It also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Jitendra Kumar in lead roles.
With Sonal Chauhan joining the group, fans can expect a new twist in the story. Known for her charm and emotional depth, this woman is likely to bring a new spark to the gritty world of Mirzapur.
