Japan PM laments ‘harsh’ upper house election result

Public publisher NHK, Japan’s ruling coalition will lose control of the upper house after an election.

Although the ballot does not directly determine whether Ishiba’s administration will fall directly, the political pressure on the breastfeeding leader, who lost control of the stronger lower house in October, accumulates.

Ishiba’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and the coalition partner Komeito were sure that in an election that the seats stayed in the early hours of Monday to grab half of the seats, the 248 -seat upper room fell less than 50 seats needed to secure.

This is one of the worst demonstration in the lower home elections of October as a vote that leaves Ishiba’s administration vulnerable to insecure movements and causes calls from his party for a change of leadership.

Speaking late on Sunday evening after the output surveys, Ishiba said that NHK accepted NHK “seriously” “harsh result”.

“We are making extremely critical tariff negotiations with the United States … We should never ruin these negotiations. It is natural to devote our national interests to realizing our national interests.” He said.

The Prime Minister and the party leader asked if he did not intend to remain as the leader, he said, “This is true.”

Japan, the fourth largest economy in the world, is facing a deadline dated 1 August to make a trade agreement with the United States or to punish tariffs in the largest export market.

Voting counts, the main opposition will take the second place of the Constitutional Democratic Party.

The populist nationalist Sanseito Party, born on YouTube a few years ago, announced that the mainstream politics has come to politics with warnings about the “Japanese first” campaign and the “silent invasion” of the foreign supporting foreigners.

He would add at least 13 seats to someone who was chosen before.

Opposition parties defending tax cuts and prosperity expenditures hit a chord with voters, exit surveys, increasing consumer prices – a jump in the cost of rice – especially the government’s response suggested that it was disappointed.

“LDP was playing great defense in this election, on the wrong side of the key voter problem.” He said.

“Surveys show that most households want a deduction in consumption tax to address inflation, that the LDP opposes. The opposition seized parties and beat this message home.”

Since investors are concerned about Japan’s ability to re -finance the world’s largest debt, a very tense government calls for financial restriction with an eye in the bond market.

Analysts, LDP’nin opposition parties to pass the policy of any concession, only these nerves will increase even more, he says.

“The ruling party will have to compromise to win the cooperation of the opposition and the budget will continue to expand. He said.

“It will be quite harsh to evaluate the Japan economy of international investors.”

Firstly, the COVİD-19 Pandemic inquiry vaccines and Sanseito, who solved global elites, are among those who advocate financial expansion.

However, it is a difficult conversation on immigration that attracted attention and once led political rhetoric to the mainstream.

Japan, the oldest society in the world, recorded a record -recorded high number of foreigners last year.

This is still a fraction of only 3 percent of the total population than the United States and many European countries, but it comes in the midst of a tourism explosion that makes foreigners much more visible throughout the country.
