Japanese ambassador embraces classic Scouse cuisine and slang | News

Japan’s ambassador to the UK embraced Scouse cuisine and slang during his recent visit to Liverpool.
In clips posted on social media, Hiroshi Suzuki can be seen spilling his pint while wearing an Everton football jersey. After finishing the drink, he said, “That’s so true!” he said.
In another post, he dunks into a bowl of Scouse (a meaty stew) and then shouts, “This is the boss’s scran.”
This was his first official visit to the Liverpool City Region since his appointment as ambassador in September.
