Police locate boy ‘safe and well’ after he went missing from Spearwood Alternative School

A six-year-old boy who went missing from a school in Perth’s southern suburbs has been located safe and sound.

A desperate search for the boy followed his disappearance from Spearwood Alternative School in Rockingham Road on Tuesday.

His father made a desperate plea on Facebook, saying police from Murdoch, Fremantle and Spearwood were helping in the search.

At around 4.45pm on Tuesday, a WA Police spokesman said responding officers located the child safe and sound.

It is understood that the police conducted a medical check on the child after he was identified by a family member.
