Jharkhand Youth Dies By Suicide

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old man died by suicide at a shop he was managing in Balajinagar on Thursday. Police said Jharkhand native Binay Kumar was also a resident of the facility. A diary recovered from the scene contained short notes addressed to his family, including “sorry,” “goodbye” and a request for forgiveness. Initial investigation shows that he had been depressed for some time.

Pedestrian died in a traffic accident

Hyderabad: An unidentified man, believed to be a beggar aged between 40 and 45, died after being hit by a speeding motorcycle near Column No. 118 in Attapur on Thursday evening. Pvt Bus Hits RTC Bus, 3 Injured

Hyderabad: At least three passengers suffered minor injuries when a private travel bus crashed into a car into a TGRTC bus stopped on National Highway-44 in Manavapadu mandal in Gadwal district on Friday.

Initial reports showed that the first accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle swerved into the path of an RTC bus while overtaking it.

According to the police, the driver of the private travel bus could not stop in time and crashed into the RTC bus. Upon being informed, the police came to the scene and found that the rear part of the RTC bus and the front part of the private bus were damaged.

Following the accident, traffic slowed down significantly on the busy highway. Police opened traffic and controlled vehicle movement.

Student Arrested for Killing and Robbed Woman

Hyderabad: A 21-year-old student from Venkateshwaranagar was arrested for allegedly killing a woman and stealing her gold to pay for losses incurred after losing in online betting, Jagadgirigutta police said on Friday.

Police identified the accused as Boggula Shiva Madhava Reddy, a native of Khammam, resident of SR Nagar, and the victim as Yeramala Niharika, a housewife from her native village who was left alone in her house when her husband was not at work.

On November 12, after confirming that the husband was on his way, he visited the couple’s home in the afternoon under the pretext of a casual visit. Police said the man then strangled Niharika and, after making sure she was dead, stole her gold mangalsutra, a pair of gold earrings, three gold rings and $2,500 in cash.

To mislead the police, he allegedly moved the body from the bedroom to the bathroom, removed the victim’s clothes, put them on a hanger, turned on the water tap, and locked the bathroom from the inside using the second door; All this was to portray the incident as an accidental fall. Police said he then went out the other door, locked the door from the outside and left the house around 14.30.

Investigators said the accused later mortgaged the stolen gold with a gold finance firm in the name of his friend and received Rs 3,06,000 in return. Police seized a bloody sweater, a motorcycle, two mobile phones, mortgage receipts and a water glass. Police said CCTV cameras outside the house helped establish the murder.
