Jim Carrey sparks body double speculation after Cesar Awards look

Jim Carrey’s recent public outing sparked a wave of speculation, with some fans questioning his dramatic new look.
Carrey, who was awarded the Cesar d’honneur, a lifetime achievement award, spoke to reporters after his acceptance speech at the 51st Cesar Awards held in Paris on Thursday, but social media caused confusion.

“It’s a great feeling… I faced a big difficulty trying to deliver my speech in French,” he told reporters. “It was a wonderful evening, a truly wonderful evening.”
“This isn’t the same person, is it?” a fan asked X.

“Does EVERY celebrity have a stunt double anymore? This is NOT Jim Carey,” another commented.
“No. Not in a million years, Jim,” added another.

But some fans were quick to quash the rumors online.
“He’s older and may have done some work, but I believe in Jim,” one user wrote to X.

Carrey’s representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Ahead of the release of “Sonic 2” in 2022, Carrey announced that he was taking a break from acting and revealed the only thing that would bring him back.
