Britons spend more than two days a year talking about weather

Rain, bride, talk about the weather is what the British are known for the world.

And now research shows that the British spend their favorite concern for more than two days a year.

A questionnaire for the Met office found that people in the UK discussed the issue every year and spent an average of 56.6 hours – or two days and about nine hours.

Three of the five people (60 percent) said the weather was a small conversation, and one -fifth will be glad to welcome more education about how they affect weather conditions and wider society.

The study was carried out during one of the hottest summers in the registration, including four widespread heat waves in the UK.

Met Office figures show that England will have one of the hottest summer this year’s hottest summer, and both maximum and minimum temperatures are above average.

The average temperature of the UK from June 1 to August 17 is 16.2C with a long -term average of 1.5C for the season.

Last week, a hot and sunny weekend appeared, while heat health warnings were expanded for most of the UK.

About four -fifths (79 percent) of the respondents said they controlled the estimated daily basis.

People acknowledged that agriculture was the most likely industry affected by the weather (91 percent) and then the construction (87 percent).

Meteorologist Alex Deakin said that the study found that people found the internal functioning of the weather conditions and how they shape their lives, livelihoods, and national identity.

“We know how the air intelligence in Met Office is beyond everyday speech and how innovative weather forecasts play a key role in providing prosperity and economic growth to the UK,” he said.

Met Office is launching a campaign aimed at deepening the power of air and climate intelligence for national infrastructure, economic growth and “value for the government”.
