Jon Rahm claims LIV Golf title in Hong Kong

Jon Rahm won with a final-round 64 at the LIV Golf event in Hong Kong, beating Thomas Detry, one of the players he helped leave the Middle East, to the championship.
Belgian Detry could only play in the tournament after: Rahm arranged a private jet, external Flying eight LIV players out of the Middle East amid conflict in the region.
Spaniards Rahm and Detry, together with American Harold Varner III, entered the final day with a 17-point lead.
While Rahm took the victory by making eight birdies and two bogeys in the fourth round, Detry shot 67 points and finished in second place, 20 points behind.
“I played really well all day,” said Rahm, who captured his third LIV Golf win and his first in the series since 2024.
