Journalist D. Mahadevappa chosen for P. Lankesh Award

Shivamogga Press Trust has selected veteran journalist D. Mahadevappa for the P. Lankesh Award 2026. The award will be given at a ceremony to be held in Shivamogga on April 14.

Press Trust chairman N. Manjunath, at a press conference in Shivamogga on Saturday, stated that the trust selected Mr. Mahadevappa for the award named in the name of legendary journalist and author Lankesh, considering his contributions to the field of journalism. He worked for various newspapers for forty years and advised many journalists throughout his long career.
