Journalists normalising Trump’s racism are failing democracy

While Trump based his power on the basis of racism and authoritarianism, the silence of the media speaks loudly than ever, Dr Victoria Fielding.
One in November 1922 New York Times Journalist Cyril Brown wrote a piece that states that Adolf Hitler was violent ‘Fulminasies against the Jews’ A series of prominence ‘leading Jewish citizens’ Seeking asylum in the Bavarian plateaus.
However, Brown, who wants to pour water into these fears, continued:
“However, several reliable, well-informed sources confirmed the idea that Hitler was not as real or severe as anti-Semitism appeared, and that he used anti-Semitic propaganda as a bait to capture the masses of followers, and that he was used politically sufficiently and strongly for organizing.
Continued:
‘A sophisticated politician thanked Hitler for his strange political intelligence to emphasize anti-Semitism and excessively emphasis: iz You cannot expect the masses to understand or appreciate your thinner real purposes. You should feed the masses with ideas such as anti-Semitism.
In the same piece, Brown evaluates Hitler’s orator skills as politically valuable and subjectively Hitler ‘He applies a strange control over the audience, not only to force his audience to a fighting site, but also to return to the right and reduce the same audience to docile cool’..
Did Brown continue to appreciate Hitler’s oratory skills in authoritarian? Nuremberg rallies? Undoubtedly, Brown’s well -informed sources, including the sophisticated politician, were not the Jewish community that did not become one of the Holocaust’s 6 million victims, but the Nazi allies of Hitler.
When I see Hitler’s anti -Semitism as a smart political strategy to regularly vote, and excuse journalists ‘concerns about the open racism of Trump, who feeds journalists’ authoritarian initiatives to overthrow American democracy, comes to mind when I see the way they see.
The reluctance of the mainstream journalists to tell Trump’s agenda of the deportation of extreme immigration – an attack on American justice, freedom and democracy – is the modern equivalent of Brown, whom I hope to be deeply ashamed of himself.
While Brown admired Hitler’s ability to manipulate racism, an intelligent way to conceal anti -Semitism and a smart way to conceal the Nazi agenda, Trump’s open racism and race oath during his entire political career was normalized, stolen, and never sufficiently condemned by the mainstream journalists.
Undoubtedly, these failures are due to the same reasons as Brown’s weak interview: in the name of “neutrality .. This impartiality of journalism has been the perfect curtain for the rise of Trump, cowardly reluctance of Trump. He enabled Trump’s movement to use the immigration issue as a political weapon immoral. There was a perfect cloak in which Trump worked to provoke, legitimize and arms an anti -immigrant emotion to rise to power.
Even once with their own eyes, journalists watch how Trump acts on this anti-immigrant agenda, that he ignored the rule of law and the necessary process, and that he uses innocent-uneducated men, including innocent uneducated men-children, and still protests against journalists.

In their silence, they misunderstand that neutrality in journalism never results in ignoring their realities. On the contrary, it is a journalism value that aims to achieve their independence, so that they do not take sides. They cannot understand that calling Trump’s racist authoritarianism does not take the democrats. On the contrary – concealing the real, terrible reality of Trump’s racist authoritarian agenda is like taking Trump’s side. This failure represents journalists who fail in their most important jobs – the calculation power.
Journalists may be very afraid to tell Trump what happened, but I’m not. Trump created an authoritarian movement behind a racist anti -immigrant agenda.
Despite the wrong Orthodoxy about the rise of Trump, academics who misrepresent him as the beneficiaries of the working class votes Marc Hooghe and Ruth Dassonneville In the 2016 US elections, he analyzed voting behavior and found it:
‘… The indicators of racist anger and anti -immigrant emotions have proved that a Trump vote is important determinants even when checking more traditional voting determinants.’
Let me say even more clearly. Trump rose to power as Hitler did. He used racism as a political weapon and then worked to revive a white superior, authoritarian, anti-democratic regime after coming to power. News media organizations like to introduce themselves as a democratic railing, as guards who have the power to calculate. When they are too cowardly to keep Trump responsible for their attack on American democracy, they have no right to claim this important public coat.
Just like an example of absolute failures, in the same way New York Times‘Normalized anti -Semitism of journalist Brown, never think that it may be worth criticizing the use of racism as a political strategy, we have modern here New York Times To write Beautiful small puff piece To introduce Trump’s military parade.
Journalists do not serve democracy until they criticize Trump’s anti -immigrant agenda and against the rule of law and the democratic freedom that the United States once had to value. They only help Trump grow and maintain their power. Shame on them.
