US tech CEO resigns after Coldplay concert embrace goes viral

A US technology company says that the general manager left a viral clip after being caught on a big screen at a Coldplay concert embracing a female colleague.

“Andy Byron tendered his resignation and accepted the Board of Directors,” astronomer said in a statement.

The clip showed that a man and a woman hugged before leaning and hiding from the camera at the Arena in Massachusetts, Massachusetts, Foxborough.

The couple was defined as Mr. Byron, a married manager of astronomer in the US media, and the chief human officer of the company Kristin Cabot. The BBC could not independently approve the identity of both people in the video.

The company said in a statement on Saturday: “As mentioned earlier, it depends on the values and culture that has guided us since our astronomer.

“Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both behavior and accountability, and this standard has not been met recently.”

The New York -based company said the board of directors will start to search for the next leader and that the chief product officers will continue to serve as a temporary CEO.

The video of the couple swinging to music at the Wednesday night concert and trying to hide quickly won millions of landscapes.

After seeing the pair, Coldplay Chief singer Chris Martin said to the crowd: “Either he has a relationship or they are very shy.”

Astronomy announced that he launched an investigation into the relationship and placed CEO on the permission shortly after the video became viral.
