Kangaroo on road could have caused triple-fatal crash

Three people were killed and after a horror accident on a regional road, he was critically injured after a fear accident suspected that the police could be caused by a kangaroo.
The collision containing two SUVs occurred on Sunday at around 7.20 in the morning on Bolindon-Darraweit Road in Macedonian poles in northwest of Melbourne.
The triple death brought the number of life lost on Victoria roads within 72 hours from six from six to six, and brought renewed warnings from the authorities.
Three people traveling in one SUV died at the scene, the other two people involved in the accident were taken to hospital and one of them was wounded.
A dead kangaroo was found at the scene, and the police looked at one of the SUVs to avoid it.
Senior Sergeant Ben Morris told reporters, “Apparently one of the vehicles turned into traffic … And they collided head -on, causing the disaster scene.” He said.
He continued: “We are not 100 percent sure … We are still working at the scene to verify the participation of the animal.”
A driver died about 181 km west of Melbourne on the western highway in Buangor, died of hours after colliding.
The police were called to the scene after a car deviated to the wrong side of the highway and collided with another vehicle.
The driver of the first car died at the scene and hasn’t been officially defined yet.
The driver of the second car was taken to hospital with life -threatening injuries, a female passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
In a separate incident on Saturday night, a rider died, and another is fighting for a lifetime after an accident with two motorcycles and two vehicles on the western highway in Grangefields near Melbourne.
A 16-year-old boy died on Friday after a car was shot and was critically injured in an e-bike driver Geelong.
Justin Goldsmith, responsible for the road police command, said that most of the serious collisions on the weekend are on regional roads.
“Every lost life is too much,” he said.
“What we saw this weekend was destructive and there are many families whose lives have changed forever as a result of the trauma on our roads.”
Jordan Emery, an ambulance Victoria CEO, described death and injuries as the most terrible conditions.
“As a medical officer, I understand that these events are part of our business, but the loss of tragic life through road trauma is particularly difficult,” he said.
This year, 156 lives on Victoria roads were lost, in 2024, as well as 15 more.
