Karnataka forms SIT to probe murders, sexual assaults, and disappearances in Dharmasthala

Police General Manager Pranav Mohanty will be chaired by the Department of Internal Security. Other members include the Additional Police Commissioner (recruitment) MN Anucketh, Police Commissioner (Automobile Center) Soumya Latha and Police Inspector (Internal Security Department) Jitendra Kumar Backout.
Movement comes in response to a court statement that claims that Nagalakshmi Choudhary, the President of the Women’s Commission of Karnataka, has been “buried in hundreds of bodies in the Dharmasthala area” by an individual.
The Commission also seriously noted the discovery of a human skull and the media reports emphasizing the statements made by a lost medical student’s family.
The Commission said that the testimony point of these reports-the point of testimony of these reports caused a “disturbing model of abuse model, unnatural deaths and the loss of women and female students for more than 20 years”. At the Dharmasthala police station, a lawsuit was already registered in accordance with the section of Bharatia Nyaya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 211 (a). Police General Manager (DGP) will appoint such cases to SIT and provide the necessary personnel.
SIT is expected to offer regular updates to DGP using the resources of the Regional Police Office of Dakshina Kannada.
A comprehensive investigation report will be submitted to the government through the earliest DGP.
