On Thursday, the White House accused Ayatullah Ali Khanenei, and accused Iran of trying to “save it” after he underestimated the influence of the US strikes on the nuclear program of Tehran. “We saw the video of Ayatullah and when you have a totalitarian regime, you have to save the face,” the press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a briefing after Khamenei’s first appearance since the strikes.
