Karratha police investigating e-scooter crash after two teenagers seriously injured

A teenager is fighting for his life and another is seriously injured in an e-scooter crash in the Pilbara.

WA Police said at around 3.45pm on Good Friday, two 14-year-old girls fell off an e-scooter on Karratha Terrace, near Balmoral Road in Karratha.

The seriously injured couple was taken to Karratha Hospital for treatment.

One of the young people was later flown to Perth Children’s Hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.

The other is in a stable condition at Karratha Hospital.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or had vision to contact Crime Stoppers online or by phone. 1800 333 000.
