Marc Guehi transfer news: Captain must stay at Crystal Palace, says boss Oliver Glasner

Manager Oliver Glasner says Crystal Palace should hold the captain Marc Guuehi if they have a successful season.
Guuehi threw Palace Aston Villa 3-0 on Sunday night and just three days after the club joined the Europa Conference League.
The 25 -year -old, who has stayed for a year in its contract, was the subject of a improved bid of £ 35 million, including 10% sales from Liverpool.
The Premier League Transfer window closes on Monday at 19:00 at BST.
Glasner told BBC Sport, “I told the President that we should hold Marc if we want to play a successful season.” He said.
“We have no chance to find the right change in a day. If we have the right backup in the building, we all agreed that we sold Marc.
“We wanted a reserve until July 1. August 31 and we have no replacement. We have this agreement, so it is open to me. He’s a very important player. He’s one of our key players – he’s our captain.”
Guuehi clearly stated that he did not intend to sign a new contract in the Karat Park, and the club is reluctant to allow his agreement to leave for anything when it ends next summer.
Last year, Palace rejected a 65 million pound agreement to sell Guuehi to Newcastle.
Since the British advanced Eberechi Eze Arsenal joined 60 million pounds, they have already lost one of the key players who helped FA Cup Glory last season.
Speaking on Sunday night after the match at Villa Park, Guuehi did not argue his future.
“All I know, when you score goals when you always fall into the team’s performance.” He said. “People will try to choose the target, but it was an open team performance tonight.”
