Katie Price has welcomed her new dog for the first time, despite frequent calls from animal charities to ban the star from owning a pet.
The 47-year-old former glamor model shared a video on Snapchat with the dog, who she said ‘never left her side’, on Monday and a few days later the star was seen arriving at the Spotlight Theater in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, with her pet.
The star, who was joined by Kerry Katona, with whom he is touring the country with a stage show, was seen in a simple ensemble as the dog bit his feet.
She was wearing a jumper that said ‘Soft Girl Energy’ and was holding her phone and a box of Nurofen as she was pursued by the last member of her litter.
Meanwhile, Kerry looked stunning in her chic cardigan, which was adorned with bows and paired with wide-legged trousers and a Gucci clutch.

Katie had been condemned by animal charities for years for owning a pet following a series of deaths. Last month she sadly lost a kitten after the birth of her designer cat Doris, one of whom struggled to latch on to feed.
This was the eighth animal to die in his care.
Earlier this week, speaking to the camera in a Snapchat post, she initially did not acknowledge the dog, instead saying: ‘This filter is so needed today, I’m so tired.’
But in another slide he explained: ‘And this little thing won’t leave my side. I can’t wait for him to meet Rookie, he’s met all the other animals. This is Rookie’s new little friend when we go horseback riding, hiking, anything.’

Katie bought Cocker Spaniel Rookie in February this year and again many were worried she would add another pet to the family.

However, his treatment of animals has come under scrutiny as five dogs, a horse and a chameleon died, most in road accidents near his former home in Sussex.
Katie attributes these tragedies to ‘bad luck’, with most of them occurring while she was away. He has since secured the garden of his new home to ensure the safety of his pets.
Katie arrived at the venue in a car alongside Kerry and her pup.
