Katie Price’s son Junior reveals how the star is REALLY doing behind closed doors as he breaks his silence after her dramatic weight loss

Katie Price’s son has revealed how the star is coping behind closed doors following her recent dramatic weight loss.

The 47-year-old former glamor model sparked concerns when she attended TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou’s store launch in Hertfordshire on Saturday night when she appeared to need help from friends as she walked down the stairs.

Dressed in brown lace tights, stilettos and a bomber jacket, accessorized with diamond sunglasses, Katie’s outing comes just three months after she revealed she had been hospitalized for ‘dramatic’ and ‘unexplained’ weight loss.

The mother-of-five told fans on Snapchat in September that she was seeking medical advice due to concerns about her body shrinking.

Earlier this month Katie vowed to quit vaping in the New Year after learning it was linked to ‘rare and irreversible lung disease’; It was especially concerning given her mother Amy’s struggle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

But despite growing concerns from fans, Katie’s son Junior, 20, insisted he was “doing very well”, telling the Daily Mail that the family – which includes his father Peter Andre, 52 – were the “best” family ever.

As the festive season approaches, Junior has revealed he will be splitting his time between both parents, spending Christmas Eve with his dad Pete before seeing Katie on Christmas Day.

As the festive season approaches, Junior has revealed he will be splitting his time between both parents, spending Christmas Eve with his dad Pete before seeing Katie on Christmas Day.

Speaking exclusively, Junior said: ‘To be honest people don’t know him like we know him. He’s doing great, he’s very loving and we love him so much. We can’t wait to see it at Christmas. I’m literally around his house all the time.

‘People will always say what they want to say about my parents, about my family, but ultimately they’re not living my life, you know what I mean?

‘They don’t know what goes on behind closed doors and honestly I’m in the best place I’ve ever been with my family.

‘People can say and think what they want, but they don’t actually know. They hear from me that we are all amazing and probably the best we have ever been.’

As the festive season approaches, Junior has revealed he will be splitting his time between both parents, spending Christmas Eve with his dad Pete and step-mum Emily and their children Amelia, 11, Theo, nine, and one-year-old Arabella, before seeing Katie on Christmas Day afternoon.

He will also celebrate with his many siblings, including Harvey, 23, whose father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, from Katie’s marriage to Kieran Hayler.

Despite the long-running row between his parents, which came to a head earlier this year when Katie accused Pete of ‘banning’ her from filming scenes with her 18-year-old daughter Princess for the ITV2 reality series, Junior insisted the drama had not affected his relationship with his family.

He said: ‘My mother is my father and I am their child. Luckily, I have a loving and strong relationship with both of them, which is wonderful. Not everyone has this.

‘I get to spend Christmas with both my family and on the plus side, I basically have two Christmases and two loads of presents.’

Kicking off the topic of buying gifts for his mother, Junior added: ‘Mum has everything so it’s hard to buy but it’s all about the thought and feeling. I know my mother and what makes her emotional; Probably better than anyone else, better than my brothers.’

The star, who will host next year’s UK Top Influencer Awards, says she has long become accustomed to splitting her time between her parents, who divorced in 2009 when she was just four years old.

She said: ‘My tradition on Christmas Day is that me and the Princess always split it between our two families, namely Mum and Dad.

‘We’ll be taking turns staying at my dad’s house on Christmas Eve this year and waking up with them and then probably going to my mum’s house at lunchtime and spending the rest of Christmas Day there. Boxing Day is just a cold day.

‘Our Christmas tradition is literally just family, food, music and gifts; ‘There’s always Christmas music playing in the background, the fireplace is on and the pajamas are matching.’

Junior’s relationship with his sister Princess was a major part of his reality series, which also highlighted his closeness with Pete and Emily.

However, viewers will no longer see the Mysterious Girl singer on The Princess Diaries. In November, the Daily Mail revealed that Pete and Emily would not appear in the second and third series, which are currently filming, following the negative impact the show had with Katie.

After Katie publicly criticized her ex-husband and longtime manager Claire Powell for excluding him from the project and any of Princess’ work, Pete posted a statement on Instagram confirming that the children he shares with Katie have been in his sole custody since 2018.

Now Junior’s role in the series is set to grow, supporting his sister while Pete retires from filming.

He said: ‘Obviously, without spoiling that, we’re sharing more about our bond and how we’ve grown, and this series shows a little bit more of my life as well.

‘It’s mainly about the Princess and what she’s doing. But we show our loving relationship that we get a lot of good feedback about, but that’s just the way we are.

‘People say that there is a beautiful bond of brotherhood and sisterhood between us and that we were raised around love in this way. Our family is very important and we project this.

‘We’re brothers, we argue and we annoy each other, but this is pure sibling rivalry. ‘We love each other so much and The Princess Diaries shows all sides of our relationship.’

After he turned 19, Junior moved out of his father Pete’s house, where he had lived since he was 13.

He now has his own place next to his long-term girlfriend Jasmine, and he’s learning firsthand how difficult managing life and finances as a young adult can be.

‘Me and Jasmine have been living alone for months. “When you turn 18, life really slaps you in the face,” he said.

‘When I was a kid and I turned 18 I was so excited to be able to do all these things and then suddenly you’re faced with responsibilities and you want to be a kid again and the older you get the worse it gets.

‘I’m 20 now, I’m like amazing, I’m not a kid anymore, this is real life and I’ve got to keep at it, feed myself.

‘I’ve always been independent and love my own space as much as I love my family.

‘When you’re in a relationship too, I think it’s important to have your own space, and that’s what I wanted. It benefits our relationship, our living together and our own space.’

Junior will take to the stage at The Assembly Rooms in Newcastle on 6 May 2026 and present a celebratory evening in honor of the country’s most successful and popular influencers.

Speaking about the upcoming gig, Junior said he hopes being front and center shows he’s ready to take on more presenting work.

He said: ‘I love presenting and it’s something I want to do alongside my other passions and dreams as I grow older. I rely on big crowds and love performing on stage, so when I present an awards show, I get to be in front of a big crowd.

‘I’m a social person, I love meeting new people, having a good day and rewarding people, I want to make sure everyone has a good night. ‘I’m doing this with my dear girlfriend Jasmine, it will be good to have her by my side.’

Christopher Henderson, Managing Director of UK Top Influencer, expressed his excitement to have Junior at the helm, adding: ‘Hosted by Junior and Jasmine and joined by some of the UK’s biggest online names, the 2026 UK Top Influencer Awards are set to be the most spectacular and talked-about event on the creator calendar.’
