Kay Kay Menon breaks his silence on involvement in ‘vote chori’ campaign, slams Congress: ‘A clip from my…’

Kaya Kay Menon rejected any participation by saying that he used a clip of special OPS promotions without the party’s permission.

Actor Kay Menon, after a video viral, the Congress ‘voting Chori’ (vote theft) campaign showed that he supports. The Congress recently urged the election commission to move on ‘Oy Chori’ and push it to digital voters lists.

However, Menon rejected any participation by saying that he used a clip of special OPS promotions without the party’s permission. “Please note that I did not take action in this ad. A clip was organized from my special OPS promotions and used without permission.”


A video inviting people to participate in the campaign included the line “Himmat Singh Kuch Kehe Rae Hain, Jaldi Se Kar Aao! Band Tile”. Himmat Singh is played by Kay Kay Menon, who plays an intelligence officer in the Special Ops series.

The latest works of Kay Kay Menon include the second season of Special Ops, a demonstration of Neeraj Pandey.


In addition to Menon, players include Karan Tacker (Farooq Ali), Vinay Pathak (Abbas Shaikh), Tahir Raj Bhasin (Sudheer Awashi) and Arif Zakaria, Prakash Raj, Saiyami Kher, Gautami Kapoor and Vipul Gupta.
