Keely Hodgkinson makes it back-to-back victories since injury at Lausanne Diamond League

Although he had two hamstring tears this year, Hodgkinson delayed the opening of the season until four weeks before the world championships.
Two times the World Silver Medal announced that it has returned in Poland at the weekend, the fastest time of 2025 and its ninth fastest time – 1: 54.74.
This was only 0.13 seconds of the best of his life – the British record, where he ran at his stunning Olympic victory in London Diamond League last year.
Hodgkinson told BBC World Service Sport, “I couldn’t ask for a better start, I’m a little shock.” He said.
“I really train for such moments, but when everything comes together, it makes it extra special.”
Speaking at the news conference on Tuesday, Hodgkinson said that he would “not be excluded” in Lausanne while trying to improve his sharpness.
Conditions on Wednesday evening, Hodgkinson once again, to demand another command victory in the last round to work clearly in the last round, once again proved a class of competition.
“Trevor [Painter – her coach] A few weeks ago, ‘You’re actually in front of the program, I wanted you to be here when we’re in Tokyo’ – so it’s great to be here now.
“I hope we can stay healthy and we can build on what we have, and let’s see what.”
