‘Too old’: what Peter Dutton won’t be doing next

The landscapes of Peter Dutton have been rare since an overwhelming federal loss.

However, the former opposition leader stole the center of attention in the Annual Liberal National Party agreement, and on Friday, Brisbane has a surprise look.

After the exit President Lawrence Springborg was greeted as a “great son of the party, he was applauded and he took another one during the praise of Halef Sussan Ley.

However, 54 -year -old Mr. Dutton refused to return, saying that he was “too old for this” despite the reception.

He told reporters, “I have many friends in the room,” he said.

“I have devoted this party to this party for almost a quarter and I love our state and our country, and I will always do everything I can to see the best days to come.”

When asked if he would think about a political return, Dutton said: “I don’t have friends, I am very old for that”.

Mr. Dutton said he did a “great job öz after sucking the opening day of his successor Mrs. Ley.

“I think Sussan’s speech today, families, small businesses, which is important for the next election, you have seen a commitment to make sure that the vision is there,” he said.

Ley said in his speech that the Federal elections should encounter the reality of the Federal elections after the Labor Party has removed its greatest victory since 1943.

The authority said that the plans to modernize and expand LNP’s attractiveness are very important.

“Our task is to take defeat lessons and to turn them into renewal foundations.”

Ley said he would guide him in the next stage of the years under Mr. Dutton.

“Your registration is courage, commitment and conviction. I have been proud to be your deputy for three years, Mr. Mr. Dutton said.

“I often think of Peter when walking in the corridors of the Parliament building. What would Peter say? What would you do?”

Mr. Springborg said that if the party’s Queensland 2025 federal survey success is repeated nationwide, Mr. Dutton would be the prime minister with a majority of four.

The coalition has more than 50 percent of the preferred voting in the federal elections and has 16 of 30 chairs in Queensland, after winning more than 50 percent of the preferred vote.

Mr. Springborg will resign as a party president, which has been a position since 2021.

The effect lasted decimal for decades, playing an instrumental role in creating LNP 17 years ago.
