Keir Starmer breaks silence over Mandelson sacking: “Had I known then what I know now, I’d have never appointed him”
Sir Keir Starmer said that he could “never throw Peter Mandelson“ if I knew now, after his dismissal in his first comments on his connections with Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking to the publishers days after removing Lord Mandelson from the Post, the Prime Minister said that the “nature and scope of the relationship between the proven pedophile and Lord Mandelson was“ very different from that I understand that the position at the point of assignment ”.
Lord Mandelson has been significantly dismissed among the new revelations about his relationship with billionaire pedophile on Thursday- the Prime Minister’s judiciary revealed serious questions.
When he asked why he was appointed in the first place, Sir Keir said: “Peter Mandelson passed a process of determination before his appointment. This conformity and ethics team.
“But if I knew what I knew now, I could never assign it, because the e -mails that emerged last week, Bloomberg e -mails, the nature and scope of Peter Mandelson’s relationship with Epstein is very different from what I understand when I appoint him.
“Beyond that, what the E -Post showed not only questioned, but also for me to challenge Epstein’s conviction for many years of violence against women and girls and all the approach I took the approach of this government.”
