The police in Nairobi reportedly killed six people after opening fire on the protesters.

At least four people were killed in the Ngong area and two people were killed in the gangbhow.

More gunshots were heard in the capital of Githurai and Kiambu, because the tensions remained high.

Since violence did not show signs of reduction, looting and fires were broken.
