After Venezuela attack, Trump issues BIG warning to Cuba: ‘There will be no…’

In a dramatic military operation last week, the United States captured longtime Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and his wife under the guise of airstrikes. Both are currently being held in a jail in New York City, where they are being tried on various charges.
United States President Donald Trump.
US President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Cuba on Sunday, saying the Latin American country must strike a deal with the US before “it’s too late.” In his post on the Truth Social platform he owns, Trump said that no more oil or money will enter Cuba from Venezuela. The US leader’s threat came just days after he ordered a daring strike in Venezuela that resulted in the capture of president Nicolas Maduro.
What did Trump say?
In his signature online post, Trump wrote: “THERE WILL BE NO MORE OIL OR MONEY GOING TO CUBA – ZERO! I strongly suggest they make a deal BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.” He claimed that Cuba had provided “security services” to the last two Venezuelan leaders rather than oil and money from Venezuela. “Most of the Cubans KILLED in last week’s US strike, and Venezuela no longer needs protection from the thugs and usurpers who held them hostage for years,” Trump said, adding: “Venezuela now has the United States of America, the strongest military in the world (by far!) to protect them, and we will protect them.”
Earlier in the day, Trump had reacted to a post on X suggesting that senior US official Marco Rubio, whose parents are Cuban immigrants, would become Cuba’s president. “That sounds good!” Trump wrote. In a dramatic military operation last week, the United States captured longtime Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and his wife under the guise of airstrikes. Both are currently being held in a prison in New York City, where they stand trial on a number of charges related to drug trafficking and conspiracy against the United States.
