Kerala students emerge winners in Wild Wisdom Global Challenge 2025

Skandan KS and Sathvik Sarat from Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakkara, Ernakulam clinched the World Champion title in the 18th edition of Wild Wisdom Global Challenge (WWGC) 2025 hosted by WWF-India.

In the statement made by WWF-India Kerala State office, it was stated that WWGC is the world’s largest wildlife quiz platform.

WWGC 2025 witnessed participation of more than 5 lakh students representing 4,000 schools from Africa, America, Asia-Pacific and Europe.

“This year’s theme, ‘Amazing Insects,’ immerses participants in the extraordinary world of insect diversity – from beetles and butterflies to praying mantises, grasshoppers, dragonflies and termites – highlighting the ecological importance and surprising adaptations of these small but mighty creatures,” the statement said. The finale was hosted by quiz expert Ajay Poonia.
