Kharge, Rahul Hail Congress Win in Telangana Civic Polls

Hyderabad: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday thanked party workers and people of Telangana for the party’s victory in the local body elections.

In a message on He said the Congress government remains committed to its promise to build a “Prajala Telangana” that will ensure social justice, economic empowerment and sustained progress for all 3.8 crore citizens of the state.

Echoing similar sentiments, Rahul Gandhi described the poll result as a clear endorsement of the Congress government’s people-first policies based on social justice, dignity and inclusive growth.
