Kharif Cultivation Dips Due to Deficit Rainfall

Nizamabad: Dry magic in Nizamabad and Kamarteddy regions created uncertainty about crop cultivation in the upcoming Kharif season. Farmers are more concerned about the planting of Nizamabad, Bodhan, Armoor, Kamarteddy, Banswada and other alternative crops in the region, as well as the main crop in the region. If the rainfall increases soon, another lakh can be taken under paddy cultivation. Some farmers were alternative to Egyptian cultivation. Agricultural officials closely follow the situation in both Nizamabad and Kamarteddy regions.

In the meantime, the entrances to Sriramsagar and Nizamsagar projects did not increase significantly. The first rains in the basin areas lead to some entrances, while they are inadequate. Maharashtra, the abolition of Babli project gates in Dharmabad in the Nanded region helped to increase the water flow in the Godavari River and benefited Sriramsagar. Authorities, Maharashtra and Karnataka heavy rains will soon improve the situation.
