Kharif paddy sowing up 58 per cent to 13.22 lakh hectare till June 20: Government

Paddy cultivation last year in the same period 8.37 lakh hectares stopped.
The Ministry of Agriculture said on Monday that he has published the progress of the scope of the area under the Kharif crops (outside the summer), as in June 2025.

The total planting area of all Kharif crops rose from 124.88 Lakh hectares to 137.84 Lakh hectares from 124.88 Lakh hectares to 2025.
After a short stop, the southwestern musone departed again and the rainfall activity is increasing in most of India. IMD estimates that the general monsoon will be normal this year.
