Kick It Out: Record-high reports of discrimination with a rise in sexism, transphobia, and faith-based abuse during 2024-25 season

Kick IT, the fight against discrimination, says that in the 2024-25 season, he received record high discrimination reports with an increase in sexism, transphobia and belief-based abuse.
Last season at all British football levels, last season’s figures published in 1,332 and the most received by the establishment of 1.398 events were reported.
Reports of sexism and women of women increased by 67%and reports rose from 115 to 192 in the 2023-24 season.
Faith -based abuse rose from 117 to 132, while transphobia reports doubled from 22 to 44.
Reports containing the football of girls, including both under 9 years of 31 to 31 times, while the general youth reports rose from 144 to 186’s record level.
The general reports of racism fell to all football levels, but the number of racist events in the professional game rose from 223 to 245.
Kick IT was also noted at the end of the season reporting statistics for last season:

The 621 online abuse report, 268 of which was related to racism, was presented by 5% last year.

There were 18 sexist divine reports for 2024-25, which almost matched the sum of the previous four seasons.

Disability abuse has also been a significant increase and reports from 51 to 76 at all levels of the game.
President Samuel Okafor, “discrimination remains deeply buried in the game,” he said and the increase in the abuse of youth football should be a call to wake up, “he said.
Okafor acknowledged that there was a “open change” that calls “sexist behavior in humans, but wants to see more action to deal with online abuse.
“It is clear that online platforms are still inadequate. The abuse of abuse remains high and often those responsible do not face results.” He said.
