Killer driver in tears as victim’s family shares pain
As the victim’s family and friends talk about the ongoing pain, a man who hit a single mother in a deadly mother was destroyed in court.
Brett David Eddy was found guilty of Tash Raven’s murder at the Brisbane Supreme Court on Friday, at the Bay of Hervey Gulf in Queensland’s Fraser Coast on May 25, 2024.
43 -year -old Raven was walking home one night later when Eddy’s vehicle was assembled his road shoulder at 11.47 and hit more than 160km/s, and caused the parts of his body to be scattered on an area of 100 meters.
The man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for an accident.
42 -year -old Eddy was found guilty of two dangerous driving while speed and drunk, and could not driving while being disqualified and burnout.
The court was full of Raven’s friends and family, wearing a black t -shirt with a picture of the back of his face.
Raven’s best friend Lauren Richards read the expression of the victim to Justice Peter Davis and said that the death of the single mother had a destructive effect on the young son of the mother’s death.
“[He] He lost everything. His mother was the only person who really understood him, and he was the only person. ”
“I lost my best friend every day I was looking for and laughing and crying.”
Eddy emerged from the Correction Center through Videolink, held his head in his hand, and crying while reading the expressions of victims to Davis.
