Bower also claimed that Harry and Meghan attended a conference call with the late Queen and Charles while at the castle, where it was suggested he fly to America to reconcile with his father.
The writer claimed that Meghan rejected the suggestion and said it would do more good than good because of the media attention it would create. According to Bower, Charles and the late Queen are believed to have been “stunned” by his behavior and excuses.
Meghan Markle is still not on good terms with her father in 2021, telling Oprah Winfrey that she “lost” him when she became a royal, a year after she left royal life with Prince Harry by her side.
