King Charles III questioned about Andrew-Epstein links at cathedral visit

A heckler attacked King George III during a visit to a cathedral on Monday. He questioned Charles about Prince Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

Outside Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire, England, a man peppered the king with questions. BBC reported.

“How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein? Did you ask the police to cover up for Andrew?” the lone protester shouted, as captured on video.

“Should MPs be allowed to debate royals in the House of Commons?”

Here’s another video that appears to have been shot by the heckler: Shared on X by the anti-monarchy group Republic. The group’s mission statement for X reads: “To achieve the abolition of the British monarchy and the establishment of a democratic republic.”

While protesters voiced their criticism, a large crowd of royal supporters gathered outside to greet King Charles.

The video shows several people confronting the attacker, some yelling at him to “shut up” and a nearby woman telling him to “go away.” King Charles did not answer the man’s questions.

The monarchy has faced growing pressure over Prince Andrew’s links to Epstein after the late financier’s alleged victim, Virginia Giuffre, published her memoirs after his death.

This incident occurred just days after Prince Andrew renounced his remaining royal titles. The title of Her Royal Highness has been inactive since 2019. While Prince Andrew continues to “strongly deny” the accusations against him, he said in a statement: Giuffre’s claims It has become a distraction from the affairs of the royal family.

“In discussions with the King and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded that the ongoing allegations against me are a distraction from the work of Her Majesty and the Royal Family,” Prince Andrew said in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital on October 17. he said. “As always, I decided to put my duty to my family and my country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stay away from public life.”

Although he will no longer be known as the Duke of York, Prince Andrew will remain a prince as he is the son of the late Queen Elizabeth. Prince Andrew will not be able to attend the royal family’s Christmas celebrations due to losing his title.

Giuffre’s book It detailed long-standing accusations against Prince Andrew. Giuffre claimed that she was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and had sex with the prince when she was 17.

Giuffre claimed in her memoir, “Nobody’s Daughter: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice,” that she had sex with Prince Andrew three times.

“I’ve thought a lot about how he’s behaved in the years since,” she wrote about the first night she allegedly had sex with Prince Andrew. “He was friendly enough, but still entitled, like he believed it was his birthright to have sex with me.”

She claimed she was paid $15,000 by Epstein for having sex with “Randy Andy.”
