US deploys drones to survey Iran as it steps up preparations for possible military action

After the regime demanded peace talks, the USA accelerated preparations for a possible military operation against Iran last night.
Drones were deployed to survey Iran’s defenses as another US ship entered the region and refueling planes headed to Europe from bases on the US mainland.
International diplomacy efforts were intensified last night to persuade Iran to make concessions.
Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today to prevent regional conflicts.
Donald Trump told the regime to abandon its nuclear ambitions, reduce its ballistic missiles and end its support for proxy forces such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
The US President said that a ‘beautiful navy’ is advancing towards Iran.
According to flight tracking data, a US Navy MQ-4C drone was operating over the Gulf near the Iranian coast. Unmanned surveillance aircraft MC-4C departed from Abu Dhabi base and was observed over the Strait of Hormuz.
A US P-8 Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft was also seen, while another warship, USS Delbert D Black, was followed towards the Gulf via the Suez Canal.

Drones, including MQ-4Cs pictured, were deployed to probe Iran’s defenses as another US ship entered the region and refueled aircraft leaving bases on the US mainland for Europe.
There are currently at least ten US warships in the Middle East, including the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
The warship, which can carry 90 aircraft, could not be seen because its transponders were turned off.
Iranian armed forces will begin live-fire exercises in the Strait of Hormuz on February 1 as a show of power.
Iran hit back yesterday, saying the EU was ‘fuelling the fire’ after the bloc banned the country’s Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organisation. Now England is preparing to follow the same path.
Weeks ago, Mr. Trump appeared ready to order airstrikes but changed his mind after calls from Saudi Arabia.
