King Charles will star in a new documentary about his lifelong struggle to “harmonise nature and humanity”.

In the film, which will be released on Prime Video, Charles is seen warning that it has never been more important to “protect and prioritize” the planet.

With working title Finding Harmony: A King’s VisionThe documentary will be released in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide in early 2026.

Watching exclusive archive footage spanning decades, the King’s reflections on his lifelong commitment to promoting a sustainable world are also included.

Upon the announcement of the film, Kral stated that he had spent much of his life encouraging people to “work with nature, not against it”, and said he hoped the film would inspire others to protect the planet.

“Nature is our protector; we are part of Nature. Therefore, whatever we do to it, we do to ourselves,” Charles said.

“For most of my life I have tried to promote and encourage ways in which we can work together rather than against Nature – in other words, to restore balance to our planet under so much stress.”

The documentary will examine the origins, evolution and scientific foundations of the “Harmony” philosophy, which King put forward in his 2010 book Harmony: A New Way of Looking at Our World.

It will show how The King’s Foundation, headquartered at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, is taking this approach through projects focusing on community regeneration, sustainable textiles and traditional skills.

Charles said: “I hope this film will showcase just some of the remarkable work being done around the world to bring Harmony to life, from the forests of Guyana to sustainable communities in India and, more recently, through the work of the King’s Foundation at Dumfries House and Highgrove.

“It has never been more important to make a concerted effort worldwide to protect, prioritize and rebuild our relationship with our planet.”

“So it is my greatest hope that this film will encourage a new audience to learn about the Harmony philosophy and perhaps inspire the same sense of determination it gave me to build a more sustainable future,” The King added.

It will not only showcase King’s remarkable vision, but also inspire audiences around the world to consider their own relationship with the natural world,” said Brianna Oh, the studios’ head of documentaries.
