Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal is very happy as his singer brother Palaash Muchhal is all set to marry Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana on November 23. Palak recently shared a few photos from the Haldi ceremony held today, November 21.
In a photo shared by Palak, the singer looked emotional while applying wedding haldi to the groom-to-be Palaash. In another photo, she was seen posing with her songwriter husband Mithoon. On the other hand, Smriti, beaming in her bright yellow outfit, danced and laughed on dhol beats with her friends and family at the venue adorned with yellow hues. She laughed, danced and enjoyed every moment, turning Haldi into a lively and fun-filled celebration.
For those unfamiliar with the matter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the couple through a letter on the occasion of their wedding. The official letter sent from the Prime Minister’s office stated: “It is very nice to learn about the wedding of Sou. Smriti and Chi. Palaash to be held on 23 November 2025. Heartiest congratulations and greetings to the Mandhana and Muchhal families on this auspicious and joyful occasion.”
The letter also read: “May the couple walk hand in hand through all seasons of life, find strength in each other’s presence and may their hearts, minds and souls be in harmony. May their dreams intertwine and grow together, guiding them towards a future filled with joy and deep understanding.”
The letter also read: “May Smriti and Palaash build a common life rooted in trust, always standing by each other, embracing responsibilities with love, and growing with each other’s strengths and flaws.” In his letter, Prime Minister Modi also wished the couple good luck. “The elegance of Smriti’s cover art meets Palaash’s moving musical symphony in a wonderful partnership as we begin a new, beautiful life together.”
“It is very fitting that a Celebration Cricket Match has been planned between the Groom’s Team and the Bride’s Team! May both these teams win in the game of life. Sending my prayers to the couple for this momentous occasion. (Narendra Modi),” it read.
For the uninitiated, Smriti Mandhana is one of India’s most famous female cricketers and a key figure in international women’s cricket. Talking about Palaash Muchhal, he is a well-known music composer and has been associated with many Bollywood projects.
