Kishan Condemns Attack on Cow Vigilante

Hyderabad: Union minister G. Kishan Reddy condemned the alleged attempt to kill a gow rakshak by MIM activists and said it was a heinous act which he said reflected the state government’s failure to maintain peace and security. He accused the previous BRS government of encouraging and supporting MIM when it was in power and alleged that the Congress government continued this trend.
Kishan Reddy campaigned heavily in Vengal Raonagar division and Madhuranagar as part of the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign. Speaking to the media, Kishan Reddy expressed doubts that both the Congress and the former BRS governments were working effectively to prevent recurrence of such incidents. He stated that only the BJP can put an end to MIM’s illegal activities and wrongdoings.
Reddy also criticized the Congress for nominating former MIM leaders, calling it a sign of the party’s decline. He expressed concern over the neglect of civic amenities in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency, which lagged behind surrounding development areas; this was a failure he attributed to both past BRS MLAs and the current Congress government.
Kishan Reddy urged voters to support talented BJP candidate Lanka Deepak Reddy in the upcoming by-elections.
State BJP president Ramchander Rao, who had earlier participated in the Padayatra in Vengalrao Nagar division, also claimed that the Congress was backing a former MIM candidate as it did not have strong enough leaders. He claimed that BRS was trying to win with sympathy votes.
Accompanied by party members, they went door to door urging people to vote for the BJP candidate and ensure his victory. Party stickers were also pasted on the walls covering the houses.
