Kittur kingdom to be theme of 2025 Independence Day flower show in Bengaluru

This year, the theme of the independence day show in Lalbagh in Bengaluru is the King of Kittur in Northern Karnataka. Art exhibits the show, the famous queen – Kittur Ranni Chennamma – and Krantivera Sangolli Rayanna, the army chief of the kingdom.

The 218th edition of the world-famous flower show will be opened to the public between 8-18 August. The official opening of the event by Karnataka Prime Minister Siddaramaiah is at Lalbagh, Glass House on August 7.

Flower Art and Allies Main Flower Show, Ikebana’s exhibitions, vegetable carving, Floreral Rangoly, Bonsai, Dutch Flower Armis and Thailand Flower Arts screens will be held at Lalbagh Garden Plants Information Center. These exhibitions will be opened on August 9th.

The award distribution ceremony for the winners of various competitions was Dr. MH will take place in Marigowda Memorial Hall.

It is a large kit made of roses and chrysanthemums, Flower Castle, a horse -mounted Chennamma model and the standing model of Rayanna will be the center of the glass house. Chennamma’s last resting place in Kittur Veera Ranni Kittur Chennammaji Samadhi Sthala, flowers will be opened for the demonstration.

Part of the castle will be re -created in the form of a vertical garden, Laveani dancers (the prominent art form in Northern Karnataka) models will be exhibited. On the other side of the glass house, a horse -mounted rayanna and the British scene that killed it will be depicted.

Eight Outdoor screen

“We chose to honor Chennamma and Sangolli Rayanna for this year’s Independence Day Flower Show. Together with flower representations, we will put eight large open screens in different places where Lalbagh’s historical recordings will be published.

2024 Independence Day Flower Show Theme Br Ambedkar’s life and contributions were. Approximately 9.07 Lakh people visited the show and brought 3,44 Crore revenue to the department.

This year, approximately 10 Lakh to 11 people are expected to visit the show.
