Washington school district removes testosterone vials from Pride display

A school district in Washington state removed testosterone vials, including some that still contained small amounts of an unknown liquid, from a high school Pride display after administrators determined they were added without permission.
The Bethel School District said administrators discovered testosterone vials “still containing a small amount of unknown liquid” were located on the Pride Month display at Graham-Kapowsin High School and removed them after concluding that the items were not approved by the school administration.
“We became aware of an exhibit at Graham-Kapowsin High School that included empty testosterone vials as one of the displays. The exhibit also included some vials containing small amounts of an unknown liquid,” Douglas Boyles, director of communications for the Bethel School District, said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“The inclusion of the bottles was completely unauthorized and did not seek approval from school leadership or administration,” Boyles said.
He continued: “Managers removed the bottles and identified the individuals responsible for adding them without leadership approval.”
The district did not immediately say why the vials were included in the exhibit or whether they represented gender reassignment treatments.
On Friday, Washington podcaster Brandi Kruse posted a photo The Pride Month display at Graham-Kapowsin High School showed a transgender flag, an LGBTQ paper fan, a flyer that said “June is pride month,” as well as a book called “Pink, Blue and You” and a clear jar of what appeared to be testosterone vials.
In the Friday “There are vials of testosterone injections inside.”
Pierce County Sheriff Keith in response to Kruse’s X post on Friday Swank wrote“The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office will investigate this.”

Boyles told Fox News Digital that “managers removed the bottles and identified the person responsible for adding them without leadership approval.”
“We are also actively reviewing our screen surveillance protocols to ensure that all school materials are fully aligned with our educational standards and community expectations,” Boyles said.
“Our primary focus is to continue to provide a safe, respectful and focused learning environment for all of our students,” he added.
