KKRTC generates ₹2,375 crore revenue through Shakti scheme in two years

The Shakti Plan, led by Congress, which offers free travel to women’s vehicles on government buses, has achieved 2,375 Crore traffic revenue in Kalyana Karyana Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) in the last two years.

The female passengers in the eight regions that came within the scope of KKRTC judicial authority have benefited from 67.91 Crore free driving since June 2023 in May 2025 and the total ticket revenue produced was ₹ 2.375 Crore.

According to the data provided by KKRTC, the plan witnessed an increase in the number of women; In order to cope with the increase in public transportation demand, KKRTC increased its programs from 4,028 4,689 programs and 661 programs increase. Approximately 9.42 Lakh women in the eight regions of the KKRTC judicial authority are the benefit of the Shakti plan every day.

In Ballari region, there was a trip to 189 Crore and 4.94 Crore, and the Yadgir region recorded a 4.95 Crore trip with 184 Crore income in two years.

2,375 Crore did not expect a total of 1,800 CRORE and 575 Crore to pay the state government ticket reimbursement.
