Kremlin says Estonia’s readiness to host nuclear-capable NATO jets threatens Russia
Moscow (Reuters) -Kreremlin said on Friday, Estonia’s NATO allies are ready to host US -made F -35A hidden jets that can carry nuclear weapons.
Estonia Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said Estonia, a foundation for NATO Jets, who limited Russia to the postimees news output on Thursday and is responsible for protecting the Baltic airspace, is ready to host nuclear jets if necessary.
“Some of them have the ability to carry nuclear weapons, regardless of their origin countries, they do not affect our F-35s in any way to host our position.”
“Of course we are ready to host our allies.”
Pevkur, a NATO member of Britain’s nuclear war titles of at least 12 F-35A jets that can carry and NATO’s nuclear mission in the air will participate in the nuclear mission was talking.
Asked about Pevkur’s comments, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said such a movement would be a obvious threat to Russia.
Peskov said to a journalist from Russia’s Life News Outlet, “Of course this would be an urgent danger.” He said that the statement was one of many “ridiculous thoughts” expressed by politicians in the Baltic region, including Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
“We have hardly any relationships with the Baltic republics because it’s hard to worse them,” he said.
