Kai Trump opens up about performance in LPGA tour debut

President Donald Trump’s grandson, Kai Trump, made his LPGA tour debut Thursday at The Annika in Belleair, Florida.
The 18-year-old player shot 13-for-83 and finished last in the 108-player division. He made bogey through the first four holes and then finished the birdie-free round with nine bogeys and two double bogeys.
“I was definitely more nervous than I expected, but I thought I made a lot of great shots,” he said. “I made a lot of good shots in the wrong spots.”

Despite finishing in last place, the teenager still described the experience as “pretty nice.”
“It was pretty cool because I know I went too far, but it felt pretty good to play with the best players in the world and literally be out there, even putting some holes behind me,” he said. “I felt like my game was in a good place, especially as I was still a senior in high school.”
Tiger Forestwho is currently dating Kai Trump’s mother Vanessa, told reporters on Wednesday that he was giving advice to young people ahead of the tournament.

“I mean, he’s the best golfer in the world. I’d say that. He’s an even better person,” he said. “He told me to go out there and have fun and just go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens.”
Trump has gained a following on social media, mostly on YouTube, and recently posted a video of himself playing with his grandfather at Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C., where the two participated in the Ryder Cup.
“I don’t see it as him being president. I see it as him being my grandfather. We’re going to go there and play golf,” Kai said. a new interview With Fox News Digital. “We play golf all the time. This is nothing new.”

He also insists that his goal is to become a professional golfer.
