Odisha motor vehicle inspector arrested for corruption; 44 plots, 1 kg gold, among valuables found

Authorities were arrested on August 44, 2025 on Monday, a motor vehicle inspector was arrested in the Boudh region of Odisha, after allegedly containing 44 parcels, 1 kg gold and other valuable items.
Working at RTO in Boudh, Golap Chandra Hansdah was arrested after being disproportionately known for its known income sources.
A lawsuit was recorded against him within the scope of the Law on Prevention of Corruption.
Authorized, a multi -storey building, 2 kg silver, 2,38 lakh in cash, and 1,34 crore in deposits, he said.
They also said that a day, including the details of the Benami operations, was saved from him.
“MVI failed to explain to have MVI assets.” He said.
44 of the 44 lands in the hands of Hansdah and his family took place in and around the town of Baripada and one was located at the foot of the town of Balasore.
